Message I appologize for getting on the defense, but just look at some of my past posts and you'll see a trend of assholes flaming me everytime I do something and I was using a bit of sarcasm in there..I'm not really upset at all. Honestly most people would just stop posting..but I get lots of mail from members asking questions and what not..so I keep posting, I mean I'm helping people. So take no offense to what i said...it just seemed "fishy". Now I'm not sure what disk your wheels have since that can make a HUGE difference in fitment. My wheels are super low disk, meaning that the pad is pretty close to the mounting surface..but the spoke design flares out a bit which gives plenty of clearance for the brakes..which as we know on the rear don't bulge out too much. We measured everything..people said my current wheel/tire set up would not work..especially on the front. Obviously they were very wrong..it fits perfect and zero rubbing. Most people go very safe with their offsets..I don't. It's okay not to if they don't want to. I just think it looks way better and increases the track of the car and stability of the side wall (with the sizes we run). This could be argued all day by one side saying one thing and the other saying the opposite. In the end neither of us will be completely wrong and a bunch of time was wasted. When I purchased the wheels (barely used, previous owner went larger wheels) they were being run with an even smaller tire size than I'll be running. To you guys a 245 on a 10.5 sounds absurd..okay, that's fine. To me it's not. I'll be running a 225 on a 9 in the front (0 offset w/20mm wide fender and low disk..yes it'll clear I have AP's). My 86 friends run 195 on a 9..just a little thought. I always measure things out..and I do it to exactly how I want them..people will always say they won't work..but they always do. No worries man. I'd like to see pics of your car..sounds pretty nice from your profile...just not totally my style..but that's completely okay. We all have different tastes.
